Silver Spring, MD a rea.Roles and Responsibilities:Windows Server 2019 supportHands on experience troubleshooting user Windows 10 systems, printers, servers, etc.This Desktop Support Specialist will handle level 1 & 2 ticketsWork on multiple tickets or issues to satisfactory resolution. We use Jira as our ticketing system.Keeping systems updated with patches from SCCMHardware support (desktop and laptops; printers; scanners)Meeting and conference supportActive Directory account managementEmail account managementIT policy support and implementationIT Security – patching, incident reporting, security processesAdditional duties as assignedRequirements2-3+ years of Service Desk/Help Desk support experienceExperience with and ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with: Windows Operating Systems: Windows 10, MS Office Suite and EmailAbility to build or install new workstations (desktops and laptops), especially by applying a standard imageWindows Active Directory experience: user accounts, workstation accounts, groups, policyWindows PowerShellBenefitsSID (www.sidonline.com) offers a unique, stimulating and challenging environment that fosters individual growth and rewards performance.
