DISH Wireless seeks a Principal Network Engineer to lead the design and implementation of network systems crucial for our 5G network's success. This role involves evaluating, testing, and deploying foundational network elements for a nationwide 5G buildout. The candidate will provide advanced technical leadership, including upgrades for mission-critical devices and services.Key Responsibilities:Communicating engineering solutions through detailed diagramsImplementing Agile methodology for software developmentArchitecting and developing software automation toolsGuiding teams on best software development practicesCollaborating with teams to innovate and drive new features forward
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering10+ years of professional experience in large enterprise or carrier environmentsProfessional networking certifications such as CCNA/CCNP/CCIE or equivalent are advantageousPublic cloud certifications like advanced networking, cloud network engineer, or equivalent are beneficialSkills and Qualifications:Proficiency in Python, SQL, JavaScript, BPA, NSO, REST, BashExperience with server virtualization (VMWare, OpenStack)#LI-LM1Salary Ranges
Compensation: $127,050.00/Year - $181,500.00/YearBenefits
