TEAM

Enterprise AI is an AI platform that provides end-to-end machine learning tooling experience to support and accelerate machine learning development, including autonomous driving and other related projects.

As a Software Engineer in the Enterprise AI - Cloud infrastructure team, you will work alongside machine learning engineers not only within Woven by Toyota but throughout the Toyota Group and its vendors to build a robust, scalable machine learning platform

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for candidates who are willing to work with a team and passionate about building efficient tools and frameworks to support workloads of Enterprise AI and enable cutting-edge solutions for machine learning model development lifecycle. This is a hybrid role requiring your presence onsite 3 days per week, where you will report to an Engineering Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Define architecture and its plan to build robust, scalable, distributed systems for Enterprise AILead implementation of critical systems while maintaining reliabilityWork with other teams to maximize infrastructure usage and build efficient solutions for heavy tasksCollaborate with other teams in Woven by Toyota to integrate services in machine learning model development lifecycleWork closely with teammates to establish and improve development standardsImplement CI/CD best practices for our services.Analyze and monitor our servicesResponding to incidents and taking on-call for systems in productionMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalentStrong experience with Kubernetes in production and container technologiesStrong experience with event-driven, distributed, and cloud architecturesExperience with Python, Golang, or related programing languagesKnowledge of best practices for scalability, reliability, and securityUnderstanding of DevOps best practicesAbility to speak business-level English with a collaborative spirit for effective stakeholder partnershipsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience with databases and blob storageFamiliarity with Kubeflow or FlyteProduction system management, monitoring, and analysisUnderstanding of machine learning development life cycleWorking knowledge of cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP)

$140,000- $230,000 a year

Your base salary is one part of your total compensation. We offer a base salary, short term and long term incentives, and a comprehensive benefits package. The California pay scale for this full time position is $140,000- $230,000. The total compensation offered to an employee will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and level.
