The Engineer will enhance and maintain a highly configurable, multi-tenant, enterprise class, SaaS solution that incorporates cross-organizational collaborative workflows, data integration, and a rich user interface built on a complex data model.
This role will work primarily on issues and enhancements coming from the team’s charter, which is ensuring a stable, scalable, supportable platform.Key Responsibilities:Develop, test, and maintain scalable and reliable SaaS applications and platforms, focusing on both backend and frontend tasks.Design and implement software architecture to support multi-tenant environments and ensure high availability.Write clean, efficient, well-documented code and conduct regular code reviews for quality assurance.Manage and automate deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines and monitor application performance in production.Implement and enforce security best practices to protect data and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.Work closely with product managers and designers to gather requirements and understand user needs, integrating feedback into the development process.Optimize application performance through profiling, tuning, and implementing caching and database strategies.Create and maintain technical documentation for system architecture and operational procedures.Provide training to team members as needed.Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, proposing and implementing improvements to enhance the SaaS platform.Assist in diagnosing and resolving customer issues, offering support for debugging and fixing bugs.Participate in Agile/Scrum practices such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives as well as managing project timelines and deliverables effectively.RequirementsQualifications:5+ years of hands-on experience building web-based enterprise Java applicationsExtensive experience with database modeling and concepts; Oracle experience a plusFamiliarity with a wide variety of open source tools and librariesExperience with the full software development life cycle, including a strong quality focus, and demonstrable success with design reviews, code reviews, and unit testingTechnical expertise building Java-based enterprise applications that are as robust as they are easy to useEffective communications skills honed refining requirements and solving complex problems within a collaborative team environmentThe capacity for viewing the big picture while consistently delivering product in a hands-on development positionExperience with full stack modern web application architecture in a commercial software development environmentExperience using agile software development methodologyExperience with Spring and Angular frameworksExperience debugging complex applicationsExpertise with Java based web servicesBasic Linux system administration skillsOracle PL/SQL skillAbility to quickly come up to speed on a complex technical architectureDesire to contribute in a fast-paced, iterative development environmentPreferred Qualifications/Skills/Soft Skills:Results oriented, product focused, and at ease in an environment requiring the ability to quickly and appropriately prioritize conflicting demandsStrong analytical skills, and excellent verbal and written communications skillsHigh degree of initiative consistently demonstrated by the active ownership of complex problems through their successful resolutionTeam player eager to work closely with, learn from, and mentor others while continually improving self and teamInnately curious about new technologies and their practical application in a startup environmentFlexibility and willingness to pitch in and wear more than one hat in a dynamic organizationWhy Join Us:At Aravo Solutions, Inc., we offer a dynamic and inclusive work environment where employees are encouraged to innovate, grow, and make a meaningful impact.
