Description
Kondex is looking for a Material Handler to join the Shipping and Receiving department.
Current opening on 1st shift
1st shift hours: Monday - Friday 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Pick and palletize parts and materials.Operate sit down propane forklift to load and unload parts and materials.Operator other lift devices such as overhead cranes, reach trucks, etc.Oil parts throughout the day.Enter and move locations in computer system.Empty swarf and scrap hoppers.Perform 5S activities, including on forklifts.May assist in training full time, part time, and temporary associates in the material handler position.The responsibilities listed above are not all encompassing of what may be asked of associates in this position.Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent work experience.Prior forklift operating experience.Prior computer experience preferred.Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions.Self-starter.Ability to work in a team environment.
