Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data/BI Analyst to join our team in Nashville, TN. This is a hybrid role requiring one day per week on-site, offering a competitive salary of up to $115,000/year. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data analysis, business intelligence tools, and a proven ability to work across multiple teams to support data-driven decision-making. Strong project management skills are highly desirable for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and optimize dashboards and reports using Power BI.
Write complex data queries and transformations using M Code to support business reporting needs.
Create, manage, and distribute reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
Collaborate across various teams, including IT, operations, and business units, to understand reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights.
Support the implementation and use of Microsoft Fabric for advanced data analytics, when necessary.
Analyze and interpret large datasets to provide strategic recommendations and insights.
Ensure data accuracy, reliability, and security in reporting environments.
Assist in project management tasks related to data analytics and BI projects.
Provide training and guidance to team members and stakeholders on BI tools and data reporting.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Analytics.
5+ years of experience in a data analysis/BI role with advanced expertise in Power BI, M Code, and SSRS.
Experience with Microsoft Fabric is a plus.
Strong SQL skills and the ability to work with complex data models.
Proven ability to work collaboratively across departments and teams.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
Experience with project management is highly desirable.
