The Opportunity:

Our client, a Las Vegas based company that focuses on automation, autonomy, and analytics for business is currently seeking to hire a Machine Learning and Computer Vision Engineer. From digitizing business processes to increasing transparency and efficiency in customer interactions to creating autonomous robotics, they aim to help businesses increase margins, reduce overhead, and increase employee and customer happiness, quality-of-life, and joy.

We are looking for a motivated, driven, self-starter with a strong background in video processing and machine learning. The ideal candidate will have extensive coding experience, particularly in Rust/Python, and a deep understanding of neural networks. Proficiency in Ubuntu and Linux environments is essential. This role requires an engineer who can drive project success and contribute to our client's mission of pioneering innovative solutions.

What You'll Be Doing:

Lead the development of video processing applications using Rust / Python.Design, implement, and optimize machine learning models, with a focus on neural networks, such as convolutional neural networks (CNNs).Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate video processing and machine learning solutions into our clients' products. • Develop and maintain software in Ubuntu and Linux environments.Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.Ensure the robustness, performance, and scalability of the software.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in Rust, video processing, and machine learning.What You'll Need To Be Successful:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in Rust / Python code development and over 10 years of general coding experience.Demonstrated expertise in video processing and familiarity with video processing frameworks and libraries.Strong background in machine learning, particularly with neural networks (cnn/r-cnn), and an understanding of machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).Proficiency in working with Ubuntu and Linux systems, with excellent debugging and optimization skills.Strong communication, collaboration skills, and a high level of self-motivation and initiative.Experience with GPU programming, optimization, and real-time video processing.Contributions to open-source projects in Rust or related fields, with an advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field being preferred.
