General Statement of Duties:

The Business Intelligence Developer usestheir expertise to work with Clinic, Hospital, Financial and Administrativestaff to bridge the gap between various data sources and accurate, actionable,and insightful information. The Business Intelligence Developer will use theirtechnical and communications skills to act as a liaison with other departmentsat OrthoIndy to research business problems, identify opportunities, definerequirements, and develop solutions that enable the organization to achieve itsgoals. The Business Intelligence Developer is responsible for developing,testing, and delivering custom reports, dashboards, and various other datarepresentations as needed.

Essential Duties:Power BI Development- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards that provide clear visualizations of complex data.- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements.- Troubleshoot issues related to Power BI queries, data connections, and performance.Snowflake Configuration and Integration:- Leverage your knowledge of Snowflake and general data warehousing to support views from various data sources.- Monitor and enhance data quality and performance within Snowflake.- Develop procedures, roles, and security strategies to protect data within Snowflake.Report Generation:- Gathers and documents functional and technical report requirements.- Develops an in-depth understanding of underlying data, data structures, and business cases to ensure reports meet client needs.- Performs experienced analysis to interpret and determine validity and quality of data.- Provides all other departmental reporting needs using MS SQL, SSMS, Excel, Meditech NPR or other tools as needed to assist in appropriate reporting needs.Teamwork and Collaboration:- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively.- Exceptional communication skills. Collaborating with cross-functional teams. Articulate complex concepts clearly and foster a collaborative environment..- Works in conjunction with all departments and IT to ensure consistency of reports.- Attends all necessary departmental meetings as needed.Growth and Development:- Researches and stays up-to-date on emerging technologies and tools.- Makes recommendations to improve data warehousing and analysis.Requirements :

Bachelor's degree in related field required4-6 years of experience requiredMicrosoft certified - Power BI Data Analyst Associate preferredSnowflake:SnowPro Core or Advanced Certification preferred
