Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will architect, develop, and maintain our data infrastructure and pipelines. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, reliability, and scalability, enabling impactful AI-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines and ETL processes

Architect and manage data storage solutions, ensuring high performance, data integrity, and security

Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications

Develop and maintain robust data models, schemas, and documentation for data warehouses and data lakes

Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize the performance of data pipelines and systems

Implement best practices for data quality, consistency, and governance across various data sources and systems

Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies in data engineering and AI and incorporate them into the team's practices

Mentor and guide junior data engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

1+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong background in building and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes

Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)

Extensive experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or similar

Proficiency with Python

Expertise working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data services

Proficiency in data warehousing solutions (e.g., Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks)

In-depth knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and data integration techniques

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with machine learning frameworks and tools

Knowledge of data governance and best practices for data privacy and security

Experience with mentoring other engineers

Proven track record of contributing to strategic data initiatives

Hands-on experience working with Snowflake or Databricks

Salary:

110k-150k +
