Captivation Software is looking for a entry level software engineer who shall be part of a team responsible for implementing a Zero-touch provisioning (ZTP) solution as part of an Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) for complex High Performance Computing Systems. Development activities include inventory schema design, interface implementation, testing, deployment, and sustainment.
RequirementsSecurity Clearance:Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizenMinimum Qualifications:Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus two (2) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexityFour (4) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.Required Skills:Experience using the Linux CLIExperience developing with Python in a Linux environmentExperience with IaC principles and automation tools including AnsibleExperience with SQL technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MariaDBExperience with designing, implementing, and consuming REST APIsExperience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as GitLab CIExperience with containerization technologies such as Podman or DockerExperience with Git Source Control SystemDesired Skills:Experience with Messaging Frameworks such as Kafka, ActiveMQ, and RabbitMQThis position is open for direct hires only.
