Local Company is seeking a Material Handler. This position is responsible for suppling the production floor with the parts needed to perform the jobs. Position is located between Kalispell and Columbia Falls
Responsibilities:-Responsible for controlling and maintaining the accurate transfer of parts and materials in and out of stock room-Verifies and maintains stores inventory and/or shortage reports-Checks against documentation for proper nomenclature, identification and quantity.-Locates and expedites necessary materials.-Basic math skills for parts counting.-Regulates and prepares material for delivery to the manufacturing environment.-Perform material pick-up or drop-off at multiple tool locations on production floor
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Skills:-Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and be organized.-Functional understanding and ability to work in Excel and Word
Education:No Degree Required
Experience:1-4 years
Qualifications:-Ability to pass a background check-Be able to lift up to 50lbs and be able to stand, lift, twist and bend for an 8 hour shift-Prior Forklift experience is a plus
