As a Software Integration Engineer within our Infotainment Software Platforms team, you will work directly with open and closed source AI models to power new customer facing features, such as speech recognition, language interactions, and features based on vision models.You'll be at the forefront of developing and implementing features that leverage the power of AI, ensuring seamless functionality across various platforms and backend systems. You will leverage open-source technologies to ship compelling features directly impacting our customers. Your responsibilities will encompass software development, integration, optimization, and collaboration across multiple functions to achieve our goals.
Responsibilities
Write, debug, and maintain robust C/C++ software for our Infotainment and backend systemsIntegrate AI models on embedded hardware and backend systems to power new featuresDevelop and iterate on new features through simulation, validation, and fleet data analysisEvaluate and train new models for use in productionProvide performance data and constructive feedback to Hardware Design and Manufacturing teams to continuously improve processes and system capabilitiesRequirements
Practical experience programming in C/C++ software, including modern C/C++ (C++14/17/20), multithreading, and PythonExperience with embedded systems software design conceptsFamiliarity with Machine Learning, Speech Models, Language Models and related software conceptsExperience with automotive communication standards such as CAN, Ethernet, TCP/IPExcellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skillsProficiency in developing software on a Linux host, with experience in embedded Linux targets (cross-compilation, etc.), preferredExperience with Cuda/OpenCL, preferredCompensation and BenefitsBenefits

$104,000 - $348,000/annual salary, depending on level + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
