Position Description:JTEC Consulting is hiring a Senior Solutions Architect to support Data Product Governance and Policy for the ADVANA data analytics platform. This position requires excellent analytical skills and the ability to work directly with the government customer in a dynamic mission-driven environment. Qualified candidates will have experience in a federal contracting environment coordinating between strategic goals and objectives and developing business architecture strategies to ensure robust, scalable, and innovative data solutions. Prior experience with architectural design and development supporting data policy and structure of business processes is required for consideration.

Duties and responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):Work as part of an enterprise-wide team and provide expertise to support the strategic vision for an advancing data analytics platformSupport architectural design and development of end-to-end data solutions, ensuring they meet mission requirements and industry best practicesWork within a collaborative environment across cross-functional teams of data engineers, data scientists, product managers, and business stakeholders to define and execute data strategiesIntegrate with other solutions architects, data governance, and data platform teams to ensure the data products adhere to the data mesh principles and standardsEvaluate and recommend modern data technologies, tools, and frameworks to enhance our data infrastructure and capabilitiesDevelop and maintain architectural standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security for data product solutionsProvide technical leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvementConduct technical assessments, feasibility studies, and proof-of-concepts to validate new technologies and approachesMonitor and optimize the performance of data systems and applications, identifying and addressing potential bottlenecks and issuesStay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously improve our data architecture and solutionsPromote best practices for policy implementationOther duties as assignedEducation and qualifications include (but are not limited to):

U.S. citizenshipCurrent secret level security clearance (at a minimum)Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is preferred; equivalent years of related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree8+ years of related experience developing business architecture and strategies for data information, data analytics, business intelligence, artificial intelligence, or strategic communication for data-focused disciplines including:

Experience in a solution architecture focused role for end-to-end data product solutionsExperience with data product governance and policy requirements to support stakeholder decision makingExperience optimizing data systems and applications to address bottlenecks and issuesExperience recommending technologies and frameworks for data infrastructureExperience ensuring data mesh principles and standards

Experience conducting technical assessments, feasability studies, and proof-of-concept for technical approachesExperience aligning goals and objects with larger enterprise-level decisionsExperience developing and delivering presentations to senior management and stakeholdersProficiency working across MS Office Suite including advanced Excel skillsEffective written and verbal communication skills to work in a collaborative environment with government and contractor teamsAvailability to support on-site hybrid schedule (2-3 days/week)

Salary:JTEC offers competitive compensation and benefits to all employees. The estimated salary range displayed in this posting is dependent upon position requirements, individual qualifications, education, experience, location, and other job related factors. Our recruiting team will review candidates' related experience and salary targets during the evaluation process. All qualified candidates will be considered.

Pay Range:

$165,000 - $185,000 per year
