Location : Chicago IL (Day 1 Onsite)
Duration : Fulltime
Experience : 8-10 Years
Job Description:
10+ years' experience as scrum master for software development projects.Experience in ADO (Azure Dev Ops).Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement).Good knowledge of other Agile frameworks (Safe, XP etc.).Excellent communication and servant leadership skills.Problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability.Outstanding organizational skills.Scrum master certification is a plus.Experience with software development life cycle, waterfall, and agile principles.Experience with Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.Experience understanding technical issues at a high level.Experience using Agile/Project Management Tools - Azure Dev Ops/JIRA experience.Responsibilities:
Responsible for team effectiveness in products and solutions delivery.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional team members and sponsors/stakeholders from Management team.Facilitate effective and focused team meetings/standups.Strong organizational skills to address changing priorities.Possess high level of adaptability and flexibility to manage all in/out of scope work items.Focus on driving the project's critical components to completion and escalate when necessary.The ability to remain calm but to actually thrive under pressure.Hold themselves well as team members accountability/ownership for all deliverables.Manages and tracks risks, issues and proactively look for mitigation options.Focus on details and follow-through during lifecycle of project.Fulfill and complete all required documentation (ex. Requirements/Scope).Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings and daily stand-ups.Coach team members in Agile frameworks.Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration.Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint.
