a premier strategic services firm that meets IT and Service needs for commercial and government clients, is seeking full-time
Business Analyst IV . This is an exempt position in support of the customer based out of the DMV.
Experience Required
Perform process analysis, data modeling, improvement identification, and requirements analysis against the existing execution plan and IT/Application Strategies, process framework, value streams, and externally interfacing policy and processes
IT Process and procedures documentation and Technical Writing expertise
Expert with Microsoft Software Programs (Visio, Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Ability to understand requirements and their impact on technical directions of a solution
Ability to maintain professionalism and react to customers appropriately, while exhibiting the highest level of customer service
Ability to work independently and as a team member in a fast-paced development process
Assist in the development and manage roadmaps utilizing approved tools and leveraging industry best practices and fully capture the program's statement of work and scope, and illustrate the work in-progress and planned for initiatives and projects with anticipated milestones
Perform Critical Path Analysis (CPA) and actively update the IMS as established in the projects Baseline Control documentation, utilize the IMS to support EVM efforts, perform "What-if" analysis, and report on the best corrective action needed to keep projects on schedule
Ability to develop, document, and ensure adherence to technical standards
Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to sustain your own assigned project work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
Ability to receive direction from multiple managers, and support multiple team members simultaneously
Ability to multitask
Must be highly organized and a self-starter
Must be able to communicate effectively and confidently with team members and management
Must be flexible and willing to undertake a wide variety of challenging tasks
Strong facilitation skills.
Proven experience at driving consensus across multiple stakeholders
Process driven analysis skills and a background in various requirements elicitation methods
Commitment to responsiveness and achieving tasks on deadline
Flexible team player
Qualifications Requirements:
Ability to obtain a Public Trust background clearance
Bachelor's degree in a technology related field
Min 8 years of relevant focused experience
Agile Development practices
Desired Qualifications :
Excellent oral and written skills.
Excellent critical thinking skills.
Proficient in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Experience with budgeting and estimation for future program requirements
PMP/PMI certification
Quality Certification (ITIL, or other)
