Description

Graduate Medical Education (GME) is responsible forensuring compliance with ACGME institutional and program requirements. Incollaboration with the GME team, the Data Manager/MedHub Superuser will providesupport for the planning and implementation of all GME evaluations and surveys,including the design, deployment, and analysis of current and new instruments.They are able to provide measurement expertise to training program leadershipin consideration of the ACGME requirements and milestones. They will providetraining for program staff on use of the MedHub residency management system forcreating evaluations, reports and other functions relevant to ensuring thevalidity of data. They will support the GME efforts in managing data input andoutput from the MedHub system. They must have the ability to work independentlyand with a team; ability to build, analyze, synthesize, interpret and report oncomplex psychometric instruments across a variety of settings and stakeholders(e.g., Dean, GME Committee, program and departmental leadership); collaboratewith other offices to obtain information and data needed for evaluation andquality improvement functions. The Data Manager/MedHub Superuser must possessexcellent communication and presentation skills, as effective communication andtrust development with faculty, staff, and trainees at DGSOM and affiliatetraining sites is integral to driving data-informed change.They will beavailable as needed for collaborative projects with the DGSOM EducationalMeasurement Unit.Salary Range: $76200.00 - $158800.00 AnnuallyQualifications

Required:Ability to conduct data analysis and survey research in anapplied setting.Proficiency in writing, editing, and proofreading toproduce reports and data analysis, and to compose and edit information andcorrespondence.Skill in establishing, building and maintaining positiveand cooperative working relationships with project stakeholders and colleagues,including diverse body of students, staff, faculty, and community members.Experience preparing and presenting actionable insights andrecommendations to senior leadership that will drive institutional change;skill in presenting information to large and small, technical and non-technicalaudiences.Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy, organizemultifaceted projects and develop accurate timelines for completion, and towork effectively with conflicting demands and changing priorities. Skill inmanaging complex tasks with occasional interruptions and distractions. Abilityto work with incomplete information.Experience in using R, SPSS, or another statisticalsoftware, for descriptive and inferential statistics.Advanced technical literacy in the Microsoft environment,including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.Experience with data visualization.Advanced knowledge and experience using visualizationsoftware and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).Preferred:Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of experience instatistics, data science, or related fields with training and experience instatistical research methods and data analysis (Master's degree preferred).Aptitude for story-telling and creative display andpresentation of data.Experience with MedHub or other residency managementsoftware platforms for report creation.Experience with website developement and maintaince.Subject matter expertise in ACGME institutional and commonprogram requirements.Experience with data visualization.
