Summary

The Content Strategist will play a key role in developing and executing a content strategy across a multitude of areas ranging from PD In Store's internal marketing to client decks and new business pitches. This position is responsible for content planning, development, analysis, management, and measurement to align PD In Store across all mediums. Working inside the creative department, the Content Strategist will collaborate with designers. support all client decks, ensuring that content strategies are thoughtfully integrated and aligned with broader business objectives.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

Develop and implement content strategies aligned with business objectives.Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business goals and target audience needs.Ensure content aligns with PD's brand voice, tone, and messaging guidelines.Support and maintain content style guides, editorial standards, and best practices.Monitor and maintain content quality and consistency across various media outlets.Use data from research to understand the needs, preferences, and behaviors of industry and clients.Develop and maintain editorial calendars to plan and schedule content production and distribution.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, engineering, production and sales, to align content with overall business strategies, client pitches and other initiatives.Track and analyze content performance metrics using analytical tools and use the data to refine content strategy.Keep up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.Foster a culture that values family, innovation, collaboration, and empowerment.Follow all safety and workplace policiesCompetencies and Skills

Excellent writing and editing skills with emphasis on clarity, style and adherence to brand guidelines.Ability to create engaging and compelling content across various formats.Ability to plan and organize content calendars, ensuring consistent and timely content production.Proficiency in conducting research and utilizing insights to tailor contact to target demographics.Strong collaboration and interpersonal skill to work effectively with cross-functional teams, subject matter experts and stakeholders.Project management skills to oversee multiple content initiatives, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope.Ability to adapt to evolving industry trends, content marketing best practices and changes in digital platforms.Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges related to content creation, distribution, and engagement.Familiarity with content management systems and search engine optimization/.Ability to demonstrate and apply our workplace valuesFlexibilityto travel between multiple PD locationsDemonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working environmentEducation/Certification

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or a relevant field.Experience

Proven experience of at least 8-10 years in strategic content creative preferably in custom manufacturing.Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
