This Product Owner will be working within the Retail Wireless team in our Dish Grand Central office located in Denver, CO. You will be working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment spanning the Retail Wireless team and broader Dish organizations.High-level job responsibilities:Ensure the product’s vision is aligned with business goals.Gain buy-in from stakeholders on all major decisions and strategies regarding product functionality and process.Iteration planning and subsequently working with the development team to identify and break down the tasks required for the iterations while providing clear instructions and deliverables.Manage, organize, communicate and track sprint and project releases.Ensure our projects’ success: on time, on budget, meeting team members’ expectations, and meeting projects’ goals.Consider the organizational impact of decisions made regarding service interface and data modeling

Day-to-day job responsibilities:Perform Scrum Master and PO tasks to facilitate and/or participate in the necessary Scrum ceremonies, possibly including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Sprint Review, Sprint Demo, and Sprint RetrospectiveAct as the liaison between engineering teams and product stakeholdersEvangelize your product vision and roadmap across to gather feedback and drive better cross-company transparency and alignmentDecompose product and service features into workable user storiesContinually prioritize and groom product backlogs for cross-functional, full-stack integration teams. Liaison between requests for new functionality and development team.Coordinate cross-team delivery, manage dependencies, and define best practicesShare and evangelize the work completed, product backlog, and Scrum team metrics

Skills, Experience and Requirements

High-level Qualifications:Technical knowledge of microservice/serverless application developmentStrong interpersonal and communication skills and working knowledge of enterprise solution architecture principlesSelf-starter and ability to figure out a complicated environmentSpecific Qualifications:4 years of enterprise product ownership experienceTechnical knowledge of RESTful APIsAWS or other Cloud experienceTechnical knowledge of queue based systems is a plusExperience creating web applications with HTML/CSS/JS is a plusExperience supporting Android and iOS apps is a plus

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $87,900.00/Year - $103,400.00/YearBenefits
