JOB TITLE: Senior Business AnalystLOCATION: Washington, DCDURATION: 3+ MONTHSJOB ID : TO-297Work Experience:We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst/Scrum Master. The project follows the Agile methodology; therefore, the contractor is expected to:
- Coordinate, facilitate and participate in all agile ceremonies.
- Maintain the project backlog and define all features and user stories/acceptance criteria,
- Analyze, clarify, validate, and document,
- Work with the agile project team to conduct capacity and sprint planning,
- Coordinate and facilitate clients/product owner meetings,
- Facilitate and validated the implementation of all new functionality.Technical Skills:Minimum eight years of recent experience in eliciting, analyzing, specifying, and validating the business needs of stakeholdersConducting interviews to gather customer requirements via meetings, questionnaires, site visits, workflow storyboards, use cases, scenarios, and other methods.Translating and documenting conceptual customer requirements into functional requirements and user stories in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developers/project teamWorking with stakeholders and project team to prioritize collected requirementsCreating process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to developers and/or the project teamConducting research on products to meet agreed upon requirements and to support purchasing effortsParticipating in quality assurance and user acceptance testing
Experience working in an Agile environmentExcellent listening, interpersonal, written and communication skillsExcellent analytical, and creative problem-solving skillsProven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, planning, monitoring, modeling, verification, and methodology developmentAbility to understand and document business and business processesHighly skilled in solution evaluationExcellent facilitation and collaboration skillsAnalytical thinking and problem solvingDetail-oriented and capable of delivering a high level of accuracyUnderstanding of databases and other technologyStrong customer service orientationBachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferredMinimum of eight years related work experience
