Our client, the largest privately held Asset Management Firm is seeking a highly motivated Investment Citrix Engineer to join their Application Services Team. This is a 100% REMOTE Opportunity and is open to all candidates who can work on W2 Basis only. As a team member, you will be challenged to use his/her excellent troubleshooting skills on a variety of technical issues. You will be responsible for the management and support of client's Citrix environment including internally hosted applications outside of Citrix . We are l ooking for an engineer and not administrator, someone who can develop and solve problems and not someone who manages day to day activities. Someone who is working in the production environment will be a best fit.

Skills & experience required:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.

Minimum of 5 years of relevant, hands-on Citrix Engineering experience supporting Windows Server in a Microsoft Active Directory Enterprise environment.

Deep understanding of internal and publicly signed SSL certificates including procurement, installation, configuration, renewal and revocation.

Excellent troubleshooting skills with a scientific approach to problem investigation and resolution.

Strong understanding of generally accepted system administration methodologies and tools such as Wireshark, Fiddler, Procmon, and others.

In-depth understanding of common protocols and networking such as TCP/IP, UDP, TLS/SSL, VLANs, MAC addresses, subnets, and firewalls.

Good written documentation skills and demonstrable experience of documenting systems and procedures.

Experience with and willingness to follow a strict change management and incident tracking process.

Functional knowledge of PowerShell scripting and a desire to become more advanced.

Passion for providing outstanding support for inbound incident tickets, as well as foresight to manage risk and scale; must know when to work independently and when to escalate.

Proficient in IIS management, including app pools, site authentication, and protocol binding.

Proficiency in Netscaler Client implementation and support.

Exposure to VMWare ESX Hypervisor.

Previous experience supporting Microsoft Teams in a published Citrix Desktop environment.

Capability in building and supporting Windows Server 2022.

Proficient in the implementation and support of FSLogix for profile management and app masking, with a background in Citrix User Profile Management (UPM).

Experience in Citrix MCS image management, including seal scripting and update distribution.

In addition, the ideal candidate will have experience with the following technologies:

Experience supporting IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS cloud systems such as Microsoft Azure, Citrix Cloud, and ShareFile.

Proficiency in automation and scripting, particularly with PowerShell.

Comprehensive understanding of multi-tier applications and frameworks.

Experience with Service Now incident and change management processes.

Preference for previous experience in the financial sector.

Knowledge and proficiency in App-V application packaging and support.

Citrix certifications (e.g., CCE-V, CCP-V) and Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSE) are a plus.

Familiarity with Azure hosted desktops and IGEL thin clients

Implementation and support of Citrix Workforce Environment Manager (WEM).

Previous experience supporting both persistent and non-persistent Citrix VDI and Shared Desktops.

Experience in implementing and supporting Application Layering solutions such as Liquid ware Flex App.

Someone who is working in the production environment will be a best fit.
