Document Control Specialist, Part Time (Contract, 20-40 hours per week)This exciting biotech company in San Diego is offering you the unique opportunity to hone your document control skills. The ideal professional will have extensive MasterControl experience as well as experience with the full document control lifecycle. What you will do:Manage controlled documents and records throughout the entire lifecycle: creation, formatting, editing, collaboration, review, approvals, implementation, retention, retirement, and/or archival.Maintaining the overall document management system in accordance with Quality Management Program and all other relevant regulatory requirements.Manage periodic review of QA Controlled Documents within the EDMS and ensure compliance to SOP requirements.System troubleshooting for both document and training modulesAudits SOPs and table of contents for accuracy.Who you are:
BS degree and 3+ years Document Control experience or equivalent education and experience.Experience managing quality-controlled documents, revision workflows and document change control processesMust have experience with MasterControl EDMS software.Strong typing ability, 55+ wpm preferred.Intermediate to Advance competency using Microsoft Office, Excel, and database management.
What does this position pay?Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location. The expected range for this role is $40 - $50/hr. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
