Pharmaceutical Research Business Systems Analyst

Location: South San Francisco, CAThe individual will be responsible to coordinate and support strategic projects for R&D division at Pharmaceutical and Biotech customers. The individual will provide the consulting skills required to analyze customer needs and gaps to propose solutions for the desired state. He or she will have to work with Business Users and Managers of Customers in conjunction with the internal Zifo support team.
**This role requires 100% on-site presence at the client site in South San Francisco****This role is not eligible for relocation assistance**Responsibilities:Review Business processes and systemsProvide on site Business Analysis support for scientific groupsEvaluate Industry trends to identify areas for optimization.Develop recommendations and future state strategyPerform Gap Analysis, Define Future state process workflows and data modelsProduce and deliver required documents and reports to customersRequirementsRequired SkillsStrong Written and Oral communication skillsBusiness Analysis SkillsRequirements elicitation & Use Cases creationTechnical WritingData AnalysisProcess & Data ModelingData Mining o Cost/Benefit AnalysisProject Management skillsResource & Effort PlanningTask Planning & SchedulingScope & Time ManagementVendor Management and Risk AssessmentTechnical ExperienceELN / LIMSJIRABasic Database knowledgeLab InstrumentsData IntegrationUnderstand SDLC(Agile is preferred), ITIL concepts, Database Design and Data Modeling conceptsAble to facilitate Scrum ceremonies, prioritize requirements, guide development team and remove blockers.QualificationsBachelor’s/Master’s degree or equivalent in a scientific or health care field requiredStrong background in biology and chemistry with lab experienceHands-on bench-level research science experience required5 years as a Business systems consultant / analyst, preferably in the pharmaceutical life sciences industryHold a solid Understanding of Pharmaceutical Research and Drug Discovery & Development processes and Biologics workflows
