Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Technician to join our team. As an IT Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our organization's employees and ensuring the smooth operation of our computer systems and network infrastructure. The ideal candidate has a strong background in IT support, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Job Roles and ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support: Respond to help desk inquiries and support requests from employees regarding hardware, software, and network issues. Troubleshoot problems, identify root causes, and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime.Install and configure systems: Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, operating systems, and software applications. Ensure that all systems are up to date with the latest patches and security updates.Network maintenance: Assist in the maintenance and administration of the organization's network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points. Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and assist in resolving them.User management: Set up user accounts, permissions, and passwords. Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes for employees, including providing necessary access to systems and applications.Hardware and software inventory: Maintain an accurate inventory of hardware, software licenses, and peripheral devices. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for procurement of new equipment and software licenses as needed.Data backup and recovery: Implement and maintain data backup procedures to ensure the protection and recovery of critical information. Test backups regularly to verify their integrity and effectiveness.Documentation and knowledge sharing: Create and update technical documentation, including system configurations, troubleshooting guides, and user manuals. Share knowledge and best practices with team members to enhance the overall IT support capabilities.Security and compliance: Assist in enforcing IT security policies and practices. Conduct regular system audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement appropriate security measures. Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.Performs other related duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

Associates or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Proven work experience as an IT Technician or in a similar role.Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and software applications.Familiarity with networking principles and protocols.Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.Solid understanding of IT security practices and data protection.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and customer service skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are a plus.

Required Qualifications:

Must be at least 21 years or age or older.Ability to lift and move up to 50lbs unassisted.Must pass a comprehensive background check annually to ensure compliance within Cannabis Control Commission and Revolutionary Clinics set regulations.Employees may be required to bend, squat, kneel, crouch, climb, crawl, complete repetitive hand movements, and/or walk intermittently throughout the day. Employees may also be exposed to company approved chemicals for sanitation and production purposes. Team members will also be exposed to cannabis and cannabis products while onsite.
