Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Security Specialist with our client in the financial industry located in Pennington, NJ, Plano, TX, and Charlotte, NC. This is a 12 + month contract position.
Responsibilities:Design, implement and support OpenShift container platform solutions within our organizationWork with architecture, development, operations, and security teams to develop scalable and secure containerized environments using Red Hat OpenShiftDesign, implement, and configure OpenShift clusters and containerized applicationsCollaborate with development teams to onboard and optimize applications on the OpenShift platformImplement best practices for containerization
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience3+ years of hands-on experience with OpenShift and Kubernetes7+ years' hands-on experience with Linux operating systemExperience with automation and scripting using tools such as AnsibleExperience with networking concepts and virtualization technologies
Desired skills:
Experience with building, deploying, and managing applications and software on PaaSKnowledge, skills and abilities to manage container image repositories in support of Linux ContainersKnowledge, skills and abilities to deploy OpenShift Container PlatformKnowledge, skills and abilities to engineer and automate application deployment via CI/CD Pipelines using industry best practices and open-source software
