Job Description:

L3Harris is seeking a Software Engineering / System Integrator to support Mission System integration and support in secure DoD an DCSA accredited environments. The position will responsible for developing and maintaining mission system environments with a mix of OS and hosting solutions. Integration of the mission systems will include the install and configuration of the Operating Systems and Mission software, Infrastructure services, and Cyber Security hardening. A solid understanding of Linux and Windows administration is required. A candidate must be a self-starter, be able to work independently, work effectively in a diverse technical team, and have the ability to take ownership of issues through resolution.

Essential Functions:Linux and Windows systems deployment, upgrades, configuration management, patching and maintenanceFamiliar with Linux and Windows systems security standards (RMF, CMMC, DFARS, NISPOM)Installation and hardening of software systems and networksRoutine monitoring and inspection of secured systemsBackup and recovery within a Linux or Windows based system of backup technologiesOn site (not fully remote) positionHardware lifecycle management, including evaluating new hardware needs and making purchase recommendationsQualifications:

Able to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship.Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experienceOR Master's Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experiencePreferred Additional Skills:
