Venesco is looking for two Cleared (Secret) AWS Cloud Engineers to support the Army Neighborhood Watch (NBHDw) Project with the following skills:
AWS Cloud EngineerAWS NetworkingAWS federating access across multiple applications (Active Directory / Access Management for Splunk, AWS, etc.)Must hold a
Secret Clearance
(Existing CAC holders would be a plus.)Overview:AWS Cloud Engineer is responsible for designing, deploying, and managing a Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) cloud environments using AWS technologies. This role involves migrating on-premise systems to the cloud, automating cloud-based processes, and optimizing cloud infrastructure to ensure efficiency and security.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and Architecture: Develop and implement cloud architecture solutions using AWS services.Migration: Plan and execute the migration of on-premise systems to the AWS cloud.Automation: Automate cloud-based processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, cost, and security.Collaboration: Work closely with DevOps and engineering teams to develop service catalogs and maintain architectural templates.Security: Ensure that cloud environments are secure and compliant with industry standards and best practices working collaboratively with Infrastructure teamsSupport: Provide technical support and guidance to other teams and stakeholders regarding cloud solutions.Requirements
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Experience: Proven experience in cloud computing, specifically with AWS. Experience with other cloud platforms like Azure or Google Cloud is a plus.Skills:
Strong understanding of AWS services and cloud architecture.Experience with cloud deployment.Proficiency in automation tools and scripting languages.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Certifications:
AWS Certified Solutions ArchitectAWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
