We are seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the efficient movement of materials within the warehouse, ensuring accurate and timely deliveries.
Duties:- Perform order picking using various equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks- Safely operate heavy equipment in compliance with OSHA standards- Manage shipping and receiving processes- Handle materials with care to prevent damage or loss- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues- Maintain organization within the distribution center
Skills:- Proficiency in order picking techniques- Experience operating clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts- Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to materials handling- Ability to perform shipping and receiving tasks efficiently- Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment problems- Competence in heavy equipment operation within a warehouse setting
