We are seeking a
Data Engineer
to join the commodities team at a leading trading firm, where you'll be responsible for building and maintaining data pipelines for the ingestion, management, and analysis of datasets used by traders.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain reliable ETL pipelines using Python.Collaborate within a small, experienced engineering team.Regularly interface with internal users to understand and meet their data needs.Work on a mix of legacy systems and new projects.Required Qualifications:Degree in a numerate discipline.Proficiency in Python programming.Enthusiastic, motivated, and detail-oriented mindset.Preferred Experience:Previous experience in a commodities trading environment.Data engineering experience or strong interest in the field.Familiarity with the Pandas library.Experience with relational databases (Postgres preferred).Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
