Job description
Client is looking for an SDET Architect resources to join one of our large clients.
This position requires 10+ years of experience and a background successfully setting up Automation environments from scratch.
We also cannot accommodate fully remote. Candidates are required to sit on site on a hybrid schedule in Charlotte, NC.
Job Title: SDET Architect
Quality architect to lead frameworks around automation. SDET: building an automation framework, set entire direction for the QA will function and act as the lead.
Direction/strategy and what tools to encompass.
This Architect will come in and evaluate the existing test environment, test cases, applications, and architect a test automation framework from scratch.
Candidates should have similar experience in performing an initial assessment/discovery and delivering an automation solution.
Primary Skills:
Proven track record of designing and implementing quality frameworks for software development.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps principles.
Expertise in continuous integration and tooling (e.g., Harness, GitLab, CircleCI, GitHub Actions).
Expertise in software automation, test management, and bug tracking (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Jira, Rally, Zephyr).
Proficiency in performance testing (e.g., Load Runner, JMeter) is a plus.
Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) and scripting (e.g., Bash, PowerShell) is a plus.
Education:
Bachelors Degree
