Overview
Connection Services has a fantastic opportunity through our Technical Services division. We are seeking a skilled and motivated AWS Cloud Architect to join our team remotely. As a Public Cloud AWS Architect, your role will involve a variety of responsibilities aimed at designing and managing cloud infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Experience:Drafting and reviewing architectural designs to ensure they meet business requirements.Writing and reviewing code for cloud infrastructure and automation scripts.Participating in meetings with stakeholders to discuss project requirements and progress.Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for cloud architectures and processes.Conducting training sessions for team members on cloud technologies and best practices.Create scalable, secure, and reliable cloud architectures using AWS services.Develop architectural blueprints and detailed documentation.Implement cloud solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.Automate deployment processes and manage CI/CD pipelines.Migrate AWS accounts into new AWS accountsLead the migration of on-premises applications and data to the AWS cloud.Ensure minimal downtime and data integrity during migrations.Implement and maintain security best practices and compliance standards.Conduct regular security assessments and audits.Monitor cloud performance and optimize for cost, performance, and scalability.Implement monitoring and logging solutions to track system health.Work closely with development teams to integrate cloud solutions.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.Stay updated with the latest AWS services and industry trends.Propose and implement innovative solutions to improve cloud infrastructure.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure.Min

Skills:
AWS Expertise: 5+ years of In-depth knowledge of AWS services like EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc working in similar roles.Cloud Architecture: Ability to design scalable, secure, and reliable cloud solutions.Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficiency with tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.Security: Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.Scripting: Skills in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.DevOps: Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Communication: Strong communication and collaboration skills.
