About this Position / Responsibilities

We are seeking a Networking Subject Matter Expert to serve as the lead networking expert for our organization. The successful candidate will ensure the continuous availability, operations, and maintenance of our network, administer our Wide Area Network, install and manage networking equipment, and provide Tier 2 networking support to end users.Serve as the Networking Subject Matter Expert for our network to ensure it's continuous availability, operations, and maintenance.Administer our Wide Area Network, including connections with Internet Service Providers, Cloud Service Providers, and other Federal Agencies.Install, document, configure, and manage networking equipment, including routing and switching equipment, wireless controllers, firewalls, VPN concentrators, and other networking equipment.Utilize network monitoring/performance tools to perform network performance monitoring, testing, system upgrades, workload and capacity analysisDetermine customer requirements and assist customers by recognizing and analyzing trends and providing instruction and orientation servicesConduct feasibility studies to identify and analyze network failures and analyze data to determine if trends exist which forecast the need for future replacement or modification of network hardware and software.work with our IT Security Team to remediate vulnerabilities, including patching networking devices, installing monitoring equipment, and implementing new controlsProvide Tier 2 networking support for end users using ServiceNow.Qualifications

5-7 years of experience in networkingCCNA,

CCNP highly desired
