Job Description
MAXISIQ is seeking a talented Software Developer with a a strong background in high-level programming languages and a proven track record of testing and refining computer software and applications to join our innovative team in a full-time, on-site capacity in Quantico, Virginia supporting work anticipated to start in October upon award. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and contribute to the development of robust, scalable software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and implement software applications using high-level programming languagesConduct thorough testing of software applications, including unit testing, integration testing, and system testingRefine and optimize existing code to improve performance, scalability, and maintainabilityCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specificationsParticipate in code reviews to ensure high-quality, efficient, and maintainable codeTroubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issuesStay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practicesMentor junior developers and contribute to the team's technical growthQualifications
Required Skills:
Active Top Secret clearance minimumBachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years of professional experience in software developmentStrong proficiency in high-level programming languages such as C#, .Net and Blazer.Extensive experience with software testing methodologies and toolsExperience with version control systems (e.g., Git)Familiarity with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL)Strong problem-solving and analytical skillsExcellent communication and teamwork abilities
