In this role, you will be crucial in extracting actionable insights from complex datasets, driving strategic initiatives, and supporting operational efficiency across the organization. Your expertise will help shape our business strategies and enhance our competitive edge in the market.Essential Responsibilities:Develop, maintain, and enhance BI dashboards and reports to provide clear, actionable insights for business stakeholdersAnalyze large datasets from various sources, identifying trends, patterns, and opportunities to optimize advertising strategies and operationsEnsure data accuracy and integrity by conducting regular audits and validationCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize strategic projects that align with business goalsLead data-driven projects that support key initiatives such as market expansion, product development, and customer acquisitionPresent findings and recommendations to senior leadership to inform decision-making and strategy formulationSupport the operations team by identifying inefficiencies, automating processes, and developing solutions to improve workflowMonitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics, providing insights to enhance operational effectivenessAssist in developing and implementing business processes that drive productivity and scalabilityWork closely with the product and engineering teams to understand the data architecture and ensure accurate data collection and reportingAnalyze campaign performance data to provide insights into ROI, audience segmentation, and targeting strategiesStay updated on industry trends, tools, and technologies to continually improve the BI function and support business growthRequirementsLocation:Applicants must be based in the United StatesYou Have:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field4+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a similar role, preferably within the AdTech or digital advertising industryStrong proficiency in BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BIProficiency in reporting catalogs, versioning, metric maintenance and documentation, and data literacyExperience with programming languages like Python or R for data analysisProficiency in SQL and database modelsExperience working with multiple data sources and data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake)Knowledge of cloud-based data environments and big data technologiesStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable business insightsExcellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiencesAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic, remote environment, balancing multiple projects and deadlinesFamiliarity with digital marketing metrics, programmatic advertising, and campaign management platforms, preferredExposure to data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and best practices, preferredUnderstanding of the AdTech industry, preferredBenefits100% remoteComprehensive benefits including Health, Dental, Vision and 401k matchGenerous paid time offWellness and Home Office PerksUp to 12 weeks of paid Parental LeaveInclusive Family Forming BenefitsProfessional development opportunitiesTravel opportunities for teams, our annual All Hands retreat as well as industry eventsMediavine provides equal employment opportunities to applicants and employees. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications. The base salary range for this role at the time of posting is $105,000 - $120,000 USD/yr.
