We are looking to hire Salesforce resource for Real time onboarding (RTO) project. In this project, we do the provider credentialing, which means background check for the doctors before they come in UHG panel.Team structure: 1 PM, 5 developers and 3 QEs
The Sr. Salesforce Developer position is accountable to deliver highest quality software for UHG/Optum next generation web-based Provider portals, applications, and solutions.As an integral member of the technology delivery team, the Sr. Salesforce Developer will be a primary contributor in designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting and supporting software applications consistent with established specifications and business requirements to deliver business value.The ideal candidate has 6+ years full-stack Salesforce development experience and proficiency in Salesforce Development and Sales/Service Cloud Architecture.Specifically, we are looking for an Engineer with experience in B2C/Service Salesforce Orgs.
Responsibilities:Daily:• The day starts with attending scrum meetings and picking task/updating status in Rally. The tasks are to be completed in accordance with design decisions from Team Lead. Daily tasks will involve coding in Apex to develop Lightning components.• Also, as part of a large team, the candidate should be interested in work on different projects and help other team members as the need arises.
Ongoing:• Design and develop highly scalable, cloud-native applications on the Salesforce Sales/Service Cloud platform• Strategize, plan and manage all processes related to continuous integration, continuous delivery, and process automation• Enforce strict compliance and security requirements in accordance with HIPAA regulations and best practices• Collaborate with Architects, DevOps Engineers, Team Members, Product Owners and Engineers across the organization to deliver a comprehensive solution• Continuously improve the speed, reliability and quality of our product delivery.• Participate in peer design and code reviews as part of the Dev-Ops process• Follow modern Dev-Ops process using Git and Continuous Integration tools• Understand Force.com capabilities, governor limits, limit monitoring and best practices for limit-informed development• Effectively collaborate with project team to understand the requirements, analyze them and apply new technologies to implement optimal solutions• Build integrations to interact with external systems based on instructions and pre-established guidelines from a Technical Architect• Influences the team designs and solutions. Mentor software engineers through code reviews and hands-on design sessions• Contributes meaningfully to code reviews of team's work, providing collaborative guidance in areas of strength• Continue to receive guidance on own code reviews primarily around solution refinement rather than overall direction. Able to explain implementation decisions and push back appropriately• Learn from feedback and apply to future deliverables• Incorporate automation in test, build, and deploy processes to drive team efficiency• Introduce automation to replace repeated manual processes• Incorporate proactive monitors, logging, and alerting into the definition of done• Understand most common security threats and patterns at both the application layer and infrastructure layers and delivers solutions devoid of them• Help to unblock the team when there a blockages• Considers the User Experience, business impact, and solution objective when managing development and design of solutions• Spend time with users and deliver initiatives that drive value and NPS improvements
Top 3 Skills: Experience with Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce pages and Lightning Components (Aura framework)
Required Skills:• 5+ years of experience with Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce pages and Lightning Components (Aura framework)• 5+ years of experience with Force.com Workflows, Lightning Flows, and Process Builder• 5+ or more years of direct experience in Salesforce Development• 3+ years of experience with Git• 3+ years of experience with agile development methodologies.• 3+ years of experience ensuring your code builds and deploys properly through Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment processes built in Jenkins or other SF deployment tools.• Certified as Platform Developer I• Active Salesforce Admin certification (Current)• Experience configuring workflows, Lightning pages, process builders and flows• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills• Good communication skills• Adaptability and able to perform under pressure• Tenacity to resolve issues cross-functionally
Preferred Skills:• • 2+ years of experience with Salesforce Sales/Service Cloud• Knowledge in Salesforce Lightning security and performance features• Knowledge in Salesforce Shield technologies including Event Monitoring, Field Audit Trail, Transaction Security, and Platform Encryption• Apex REST and SOAP Web Services, Apex Callouts, Outbound Messaging, and JavaScript Remoting• Event messaging, streaming API, and platform events• Understand the principles of building managed packages for AppExchange, and be familiar with the security requirements and guidelines• Experience or exposure to cloud technologies• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent• Healthcare domain knowledge
