Responsibilities:
Implement IEP goals as directed by the Special Education Teacher
Implement programs developed by teacher and consultantReinforce daily living, social skills, receptive and expressive language skillsMaintain accurate data and graphing on all designated programsPlan and implement instructional sequences within self-contained classroom, inclusion environments, and reverse mainstream environmentsMeet regularly with consultant, special education teacher, support teamAttend staff meetingsProvide reports of student progress when deemed necessary by teacher and/or teamMaintain student safetyImplement behavior intervention plans designed to reinforce appropriate behaviors and eliminate inappropriate behaviorsQualifications:
Bachelors Degree and/or Associates DegreeDemonstrate knowledge of special education practicesPossess excellent written and verbal communication skillsMust be flexible, creative, and demonstrate strong organizational skillsHighly motivated and self directedTraining in behavioral therapy preferredPMT Training
