Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Needed for School District near Jackson, NJ Introductory Paragraph: Soliant is currently seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a reputable school district located near Jackson, NJ. This position offers both full-time and part-time options, providing flexibility to suit individual preferences. Responsibilities: Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify students' speech and language needs. Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to students' goals and abilities. Providing direct speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support students' communication development across various settings. Documenting student progress, maintaining accurate records, and preparing reports for IEP meetings. Participating actively in IEP meetings and contributing valuable insights to the team. Utilizing evidence-based practices and innovative techniques to engage students and facilitate learning. Adhering to professional, ethical, and legal standards in all aspects of service delivery. Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. New Jersey state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), preferred. Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a school-based setting. Strong understanding of the principles and practices of speech and language therapy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders. Flexibility, adaptability, and a commitment to providing high-quality services to meet the unique needs of each student. Knowledge of special education laws and regulations, including IDEA and ADA, preferred.
