The Sr. HR Generalist provides support for day-to-day operations as it relates to human resources, which includes employee relations, recruiting & on-boarding, benefit & leave administration, and payroll in accordance with company policy.

A successful Sr. HR Generalist will build sustainable relationships with the employees and leaders within the organization.

The incumbent will play an important role in leading talent strategies such as Talent Management, Performance Management and Employee Engagement to drive organizational effectiveness and performance and help ensure Masonite has the capability required to execute our strategy.

Responsibilities:Provides counseling and/or coaching to employees and management regarding employee relation matters and application of company policies, programs and benefits.Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, leave administration, disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, performance and talent management, recognition morale, and training and development.Develops and maintains strong business partner relationships with key stakeholders to coach and influence the best business decisions.Identifies training and development needs within an organization through job analysis, appraisal schemes and regular consultation with business managers and human resources departments.Performs recruiting duties for hourly positions including creation of job advertisement, sourcing, interviewing, selection, and onboarding.Maintains high visibility to promote HR programs and assist management with effective team communication.Provides continuous improvement of HR processesCoordinates and/or facilitate employee and manager training on various topics such as DEI, benefit enrollment, and/or compensation processes.Performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology or Business Administration required.Minimum 3 years HR generalist experience required.Knowledge of labor laws for Oregon preferred.Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities, facilitate projects and business processes and work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills required.Strong MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience creating reports from an HRIS strongly preferred .Knowledge of SuccessFactors a plus.PHR / SPHR certification a plus.
