Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) Needed for School District near Roseville, CA Introductory Paragraph: Soliant is currently seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join a dynamic school district located near Roseville, CA. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to work with students in Special Day Classes (SDC) from Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 5th grade. Responsibilities: Providing speech and language therapy services to students in SDC TK-5th classes. Collaborating with special education teachers and other professionals to support students' academic and social-emotional needs. Conducting assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language abilities. Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to address students' communication goals. Facilitating communication and language development through targeted interventions and activities. Documenting student progress and maintaining accurate records in accordance with district and state guidelines. Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and providing input on students' goals and progress. Providing support and guidance to paraprofessionals and other staff working with students receiving speech therapy services. Qualifications: For SLP: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. California state licensure or eligibility for licensure. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Experience working with students in a school setting, particularly in Special Day Classes. Knowledge of evidence-based practices in speech and language therapy. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. For SLPA: Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field. California state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant. Previous experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a Special Day Class setting. Familiarity with speech and language therapy techniques and interventions. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to follow directions and implement treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
