Location: Adelanto, CA Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic full time Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year. This role involves working closely with students from grades K-12 to support the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). Responsibilities: Assist in conducting assessments to identify speech and language disorders. Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) developed by the supervising SLP. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress. Provide direct therapy services and interventions under the guidance of an SLP. Document student progress and maintain accurate records. Requirements: Associates degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or related field. Valid state license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Previous school experience preferred, but not required.
