Responsibilities
Picker/Packer *does not require ability to lift*
The ability to fold cardboard boxes, placing inserts in box, placing products in/on inserts, sealing/taping/labelingRequired to read product numbers and find the matching productThe ability to inspect packaging to ensure it meets quality standardsThe ability to take apart incorrectly packaged productsThe ability to stack completed kits on palletsThe ability to navigate aisle numbers and productsBasic computer skillsThe ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods, 8 or more hoursThe ability to use hands to pick up objects and operate tools or controls and reach with handsThe ability to use written sources of information to key data into the systemThe ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds and team lift parcels weighing more than 40 poundsActivities requiring sustained concentration when performing data entry functionsSpecific vision abilities, including close vision and the ability to adjust focusLoader/unloader *requires heavy lifting*
Works on the loading docks as incoming freight arrivesUnloads incoming freight using manual pallet jacks and liftingOpens and unloads palletsLoads outgoing freight onto trucks
The essential functions of this role include:working in a non-temperature controlled environmentmanual lifting up to 50lbsstanding for 8 hours at one timeworking weekends
