Hello! We are looking for forklift operator in Lavergne, TN. It is first shift 8 am to 4:30 pm. Moday thru Friday! Need 2 plus years of experience on standup or sit down forklift experience. Must have steel toed shoes. Pay Rate is: $17.50 per hour. Increase possible after 60 days as it is based on performance and attendance. Responsibilities
This is a position in which an operator will be on and off the forklift all day performing various tasks related to the position. This is not a part time forklift position where we move them to other jobs within the building. They may work on different tasks or in different departments, but operating a forklift is the primary task.
What is the pay rate...Will it be the pay as the last time we filled one there ? Current pay rate is $17.50/hr. If a candidate has a lot of experience and is able to exhibit that during the eval and the first week of work, I can increase it a little. That being said, I do not want that advertised up front.
They need to do a quick interview/skills eval first before a candidate begins the assignment. They usually take less than 30 minutes so we can do them at almost any time of the day.
Hours are 8am-430pm, M-F, with OT as needed.
