About the role

We are seeking a talented Product Owner to help drive the company's product vision and strategy. The Product Owner will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of the Searchspring Product Roadmap. This role will cover the full product lifecycle, from prioritization and strategy, to hands on work with development and go to market teams. The Product Owner will report to the CTO, and work closely with cross-functional teams and various stakeholders to ensure that Searchspring is delivering the best possible product to its customers.

What you'll doEffectively prioritize features and enhancements based on business value, customer impact, and technical feasibility.Create, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring it reflects the product strategy and vision.Collaborate with stakeholders (e.g., implementations, engineering, sales, marketing, support, etc.) to gather requirements and understand their needs.Retrieve and analyze feedback from customers and stakeholders to adjust the backlog, shape requirements features, and end products in response to changing business needs.Leverage strong communication and organizational skills to manage expectations and ensure alignment among all parties involved in product development.Identify and mitigate risks associated with product development, such as technical challenges, timeline delays, or scope creep, ensuring products are built to the highest standards, on time, and within budget.Write detailed, easy to understand user stories and acceptance criteria.Present work in a group setting and drive the pace of development projects.Participate in daily team rituals (i.e., stand-ups, grooming sessions, planning, etc.).How you will succeed

What we're looking for

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of product related experience (i.e., product owner, product manager or business analyst).Experience with agile methodologies such as scrum and kanban.Detail oriented, highly motivated and self-directed.Ability to present complex designs across technical and non-technical teams.Strong collaborative and communication skills.Responsive to feedback.Experience working directly with engineering teams (onshore & offshore).Experience in product development, requirements gathering, writing user stories, backlog management and prioritization and release management.Passion for building great products and delivering value to customers.Nice to have experience

Background in eCommerceto bring domain expertise to the role.Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL) and proficiency in SQL.UX/UI wireframing/design mock-ups.Experience with Asana, Figma, Miro, Aha, GitHub, Metabase and/or GrafanaBenefits and company perks
