Job Description
ASRC Federal is seeking a qualified
Network Engineer Senior II
to support our contract with the U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) Software Engineering Center (SEC) under the SETA program.
This role focuses on providing technical leadership and oversight in the areas of cloud architecture, network engineering, and cybersecurity, particularly in government-designated Cloud Service Providers such as Microsoft Azure and AWS.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, design, implement, maintain, and support cloud network environments, ensuring compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) policies and security protocols.Provide technical expertise for the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Cloud Access Points (CAP) and manage cloud-based network infrastructures.Automate cloud environment tasks such as instantiating environments, applying DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), and implementing patches and updates.Produce and maintain system architecture, configuration, and software documentation.Assist in achieving and maintaining the Authority to Operate (ATO) status using the DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF), ensuring security compliance.Provide subject matter expertise in Azure Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) for DoD cloud deployments.Lead and oversee cloud network security, including implementing and monitoring best practices for data protection and secure cloud architecture.Preferred Certifications:

Requirements
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related technical discipline (preferred).Minimum of 5 years
of experience in cloud architecture, software engineering, cloud security, and network engineering in CSP environments (Azure, AWS, Oracle).Expertise in automating cloud processes, including the application of DISA STIGs, backups, restores, and security scans.Proven experience deploying systems in DoD-authorized cloud environments and familiarity with DoD cybersecurity practices.Experience with the creation, maintenance, and support of Azure IaaS/PaaS.IAT Level I Certification
in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M and AR 25-2.Federal Investigative Standards TIER 5 and computing environment certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, MCSE, Cisco Certified Network Professional Cloud).Active
