Responsibilities
WORK PERFORMED:•Manually remove finished bags from line and pack in cartons•Perform quality checks and record information.•Perform basic adjustments and measurements on assigned equipment with little support from the cellleader and/or group leader to maintain quality specifications.•Prepare input rolls for splicing to current product•Inform cell leader and/or group leader of operating problems.•Keep accurate records of reclaim and downtime.•Maintain clean, safe work area.•Demonstrate a working knowledge of all plant and departmental safety procedures and guidelines.•Perform other tasks as directed by supervisor and/or group leader.•Communicate effectively with off-going and on-coming shift personnel.•Give assistance to co-workers to reduce reclaim and downtime.•May train other personnel of lower job levels.
