Backend Software Engineer with TS/SCI clearance and polygraph
to create a processing platform using various configuration management technologies. You will develop scalable data platforms using your experience in business intelligence, analytics, data science, and data products.
In this role, you will:Design and develop a processing platform using various configuration management technologies.Provide ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancements in existing systems and platforms.Troubleshoot complex problems and provides customer support for software systems and application issues.Provide recommendations for continuous improvement.Work alongside other engineers on the team to sustain and advance our organization's capabilities.You might thrive in this role if you:
Possess an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraphHave a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experienceHave 10+ years of software development experienceHave experience with monitoring technologies like ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.Have experience with building APIs and services using REST, Hadoop, Map Reduce, Spark, etc.Have experience with build automation technologies like Maven, Jenkins, etc.Have experience with Linux (preferred) or Windows operating systems.Have hands-on experience with modern programming languages including Java, Java Script, Python, and other non-relational databases.Have hands-on experience working with ElasticSearch, MongoDB, Docker, Kubernetes, Rabbit MQ, and NiFi.Have DevOps experience building and deploying cloud infrastructure with technologies like Ansible, Cloud Formation, Puppet, etc.Demonstrated subject matter expertise with a solid knowledge base of geospatial tools such as ESRI, RemoteView and QGISHave experience with Git for source controlDemonstrated ability to determine the right tool or technology for the task at handWorks well in a team environmentStrong communication skillsYou will excel in this role if you have also these skills:
Ability to work both independently with minimal supervisionStrong analytic, critical thinking, and research skillsAdept at managing project plans and resources to ensure successful project completionThe ideal candidate will be based in the Northern Virginia/Washington DC areaBTI360 benefits for full-time teammates
