Summary

The Manager - W&D Business Development position is responsible for warehouse and distribution service managing for defined logistics field.

ResponsibilitiesPrimary

Supervise daily operational activities, including quality assurance, logistics, productivity, shipping, and customer serviceSchedule and oversee the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiencyMeet regularly with warehouse leads to analyze productivity and develop actionable plans for loss preventionOversee and manage logistics for transporting products to customers

Secondary

Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing standards and proceduresResolve any arising problems or complaintsMaintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvementsConfer and coordinate activities with other departmentsTertiary

Manage monthly closing and AR/APProcess SAP/GWMS/GTMSMaintain accounting balance current

Record of successful distribution and logistics management, and demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff preferredKnowledge of WMS, TMS, ERP, and IATF 16949 preferredProblem solving skills, organizational skills, ability to work independently and handle multiple projects preferredHaving strong communication skills to manage the internal department and external customers preferredGood commercial and business understanding requiredEducation & Experience

Bachelor's Degree Required

Master's Degree Preferred

7 - 10Years of Experience in Logistics Required

8 - 13Years of Experience Preferred

Experience in Supply Chain Management, W&D, & Automotive Preferred1 - 3Years of Supervisory Experience Required

4 - 7Years of Supervisory Experience Preferred
