Aligned around a shared purpose, our $3.9B company and 16,000 people work alongside our clients, here and abroad, to tackle their most complex challenges with integrity, respect, responsibility, and professionalism.V2X is currently seeking a highly qualified Strategic Sourcing Specialist to join our Supply Chain Strategic Sourcing Center of Excellence Team.The successful candidate will have worked directly with business stakeholders, and other team members to develop and execute sourcing strategies to drive greater supplier value and performance.This role will be responsible for supporting Supply Chain sub-contracts, sourcing new and difficult-to-find parts and services, as well as negotiating proposals for various agreements, and creating roadmaps to optimize the performance of sourcing and procurement activities.Job ResponsibilitiesManages the execution of requests for proposals, bid analysis, contract development, purchase order development, and negotiation.Strong in data analyticsCollaborates with numerous cross-functional disciplines in the organization - compliance, risk management, Program management, contracts, finance, and legal.Supports mitigating and resolving risks and risk-related issues.Supports evaluations for new or creative approaches, strategies, and processes to address a business need.Negotiates with sourced suppliers to manage demand for spend and ensure the best quality, service, and cost to achieve business objectives.Manage internal customer relationships and leadership expectations. Supports sourcing in negotiations parts, equipment, tools, packaging materials, parts, services, and/or supplies necessary for the operations of an aerospace organization.Sourcing -LTAs/BPA'sManages supplier contract compliance and supplier performance review (Cost, Quality, Delivery)Support completion of supplier Quality / SCARSManages contracts Year Over Year escalationsFamiliar with FAR/DFRA clauses and complianceAdditional projects and duties as needed

QualificationsBachelor's Degree in a related field and +2 years of directly related government, industrial or manufacturing/purchasing or subcontracting experience, OR Associate Degree with a minimum of 6+ years of directly related manufacturing/purchasing or subcontracting experience, OR completion of high school or equivalent and a minimum of 10+ years of directly related government, industrial or manufacturing/purchasing or subcontracting experience.SAP/ERP experienceHigh level of accountability and integrityDemonstrated focus on client successStrong communication and presentation skills are required - excellent writing skills are a mustExperience and confidence in interfacing with senior executivesExcellent knowledge of the RFP process and supplier selection processes requiredStrong negotiation skills and relationship-building skills requiredExperience redlining and negotiating contract terms and conditions requiredMust have experience with preparing RFQs/RFPs, reviewing and negotiating terms and conditions. Determine the best value source selection to decide the lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet schedule requirements.Experience must include bid solicitation and supplier selection based upon best value analysis with a federal contractor.Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, being able to present financial information clearly and succinctly.Excellent communication skills with the ability to exchange information and interface effectively with suppliers are required.Must be able to pass a background investigation to obtain a public trust position (if required for the position).Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance (if required for the position).Familiar with FAR and DFAR regulationsFamiliar with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) Operating Systems.
