We are hiring a Sr. BI Developer to join a top entertainment company in Orlando, FL .This freelance role will run for 2 months with potential to extend and will be based in their Orlando office on a hybrid schedule (Monday-Thursday onsite).
Responsibilities:Responsible for the design, development, and support of business intelligence reports, dashboards, and queries.Solves complex technical problems.Creates testing methodology and criteria.Designs and coordinates a curriculum for coaching and training customers in the use of business intelligence tools to enhance business decision-making capability.Develops standards, policies and procedures for the form, structure and attributes of the business intelligence tools and systems.Responsible for prototyping highly efficient solutions, preparing test scripts, and conducting tests for data reporting.Accountable for quality, completeness, and on-time delivery of own work products. SME for the user community to produce reporting requirements.Responsible for prototyping highly efficient solutions, preparing test scripts, and conducting tests for business reporting solutions.Works independently within a team, provides strategic technical project direction. Estimates the technical work effort for medium to large sized projects.Serves as an escalation point for technical problems.Identifies strategic tools and processes for improvement across the body of work within assigned team.Acts as a technical lead on projects across multiple company domains.Keeps up with current trends in the technology market.Qualifications:
Domain knowledge in Food and Beverage Supply Chain including logistics, inventory management, purchasingProficient in the use of MicroStrategy Cloud and Agile Tools (Jira)Strong understanding of various relational database technologiesAbility to perform across all phases of system development for multiple complex projects; including coding, technical design, and end-to-end testingAbility to clearly document own work products and review and contribute to the documentation across multiple projectsAbility to identify problems or opportunities within the scope of the department's projects. Proficiency in multiple business intelligence technologies.Experience with project testing, implementation, and deployment activities that include coordination of activities from more than one team.Knowledge of report writing against Snowflake and Oracle and MS SQL Server DBs.
