This role will only consider W2 candidates and not C2C candidates.Job SummaryThis position is responsible for testing software-as-a-service on a team of other software engineers that are focused on continuous software delivery model using agile methodologies. This position has experience leading the design, development, and maintenance of automated tests in modern software products using microservices that are focused on business domains and follow domain driven design principles and practices. With your team, you will work to have high confidence in quality of the software in releasing continuously.What you will doDevelop automated tests and test new software functionality while balancing the testing pyramidEstablish a high level of code quality by writing unit tests, integration tests, automation tests, participating in code reviews, executing test cases at the acceptance testing level as part of the functional testing or regression testing of the productLead the team to create tests that meet coverage levelsAnalyze requirements and provide estimates of work involvedDiagnose root causes of software defects and recommend required actions and added validation needsWork with other Software Engineers to analyze the testing coverage to best determine the quality of software before deploying using CI/CD best practicesMentor more junior test engineers regarding best practices with an ability to explain technical concepts in written and verbal formsCreate and maintain application build quality processesWork closely with team to create continuous integration processesSupport and maintain production systems and support the deployments of those environmentsParticipate in code reviews and assure adherence to software coding standardsDetermine and work with other software engineers on defining system specifications and levels of testing required to meet requirements

QualificationsMust haves:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent working experience8+ years of test automation and/or software development experienceExperience with Java, React, Selenium, and JunitAbility to conduct automated tests for API endpointsAbility to write unit tests and ensure proper code coverageAbility to implement test automation derived from technical specifications and code analysisAbility to derive and design tests from general product requirementsKnowledge of test driven development, end-to-end testing, and the testing pyramidKnowledge of test cases, test plans, and test suitesKnowledge of application design patternsAbility to problem-solve in a technical spaceKnowledge of data storage formats, tools, and languagesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAct as a resource for colleagues and train engineers in best practices for automated testing

The posted range for this position is

$96,000 - $168,000

which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc. This position is eligible for a

12.5% bonus
