Responsibilities
Peraton is looking for a Systems Integration Engineer (SE) to lead a new effort with one of our longstanding customers. In this role, (SE) would provide technical leadership in the planning, investigation, design, and implementation of physical and virtualized infrastructure systems. The SE is responsible for the design and engineer virtual infrastructure leveraging various Hyper-visors, and VOi technologies to include Hyper-V, XenServer, ESXi, and VMWare. The SE shall design, build, maintain, and support a variety of workstation and server images to include both Windows and Linux operating systems. The SE shall design, build, maintains, and supports automated system patching and software deployment. The SE shall develop detailed network design diagrams and documentation.Qualifications
Eight (8) years of experience with the following:
Designing and engineering virtual infrastructure; building and supporting desktop systems using Windows operating systemsDesigning workstations and servers' infrastructures for high latency, low bandwidth networks using satellite or cellular broadband technologiesFive (5) years of years of experience with the following:
Design and engineer virtual infrastructure leveraging various Hyper-visorsVOi technologies to include Hyper-V, XenServer, ESXi, and VMWareWindows and Linux operating systemsSupports automated system patching and software deploymentDevelop detailed network design diagrams and documentation
Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA (equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Forensic Science or related fields accepted in lieu of a degree)Bachelor's degree in one of the following areas: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer and Information Security, Computer Security, and/or Network Administration from an accredited university/college; or Master's Degree in Computer Science or related scientific/technical fieldActive Top Secret Security Clearance with ability to obtain SCI and polyPreferred Experience: Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert or equivalent level of certification is desired.Peraton offers enhanced benefits to employees working on this critical National Security program, which include heavily subsidized employee benefits coverage for you and your dependents, 25 days of PTO accrued annually up to a generous PTO cap and eligibility to participate in an attractive bonus plan.Peraton Overview
